History
The UK Afghan Hound Year Book was started in 1977 by Peter Harcourt-Brown and his family, since then it has grown into an essential 'must have' guide to all things Afghan happening in the UK each year. After 24 years of producing this living history of the breed Peter retired from the post of editor – we all owe them a big ‘Thank You’ for starting this wonderful work of reference.
New editors: Tim and Jan Fielder produced their first book with the 2001 edition, this was fully accepted as a natural continuance. The same information, still with full details of all things Afghan but in an updated style, easier to read and with more photos.
